Germany: Activists deface CSU headquarters sign in Bavaria

Footage shows a logo of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) pasted onto the logo of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), at the CSU headquarters in Munich on Wednesday.

The action was carried out by activists from the Centre for Political Beauty, who reportedly used a crane to lift one member of their group up to the sign's height. According to local media, the activists also stuck up satirical posters of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, which police soon removed. Unable to reach the CDU logo however, it was left in its place until the early evening.
